Advocating for Positive Change
EFry is active in pursuing systemic changes that will remove barriers and improve equity and opportunity for vulnerable women and children.

Fighting Homelessness and Poverty
We pursue positive changes to government policies and increases to public funding to provide needed housing and economic opportunities for deeply poor women to build brighter futures.

Decarceration
EFry advocates for the removal of systemic racism from our legal system. We also strive to reduce the criminalization of women and create opportunities for those in conflict with the law to rebuild stable lives in their community.

Children’s Rights
Our JustKids programs and services were developed with the unique needs of children who experience parental incarceration, homelessness and substance use challenges in mind. Specialized supports can change the course of a child’s life for the better.
To help bring those benefits to children beyond our client base, EFry is active nationally as part of the Canadian Coalition of Children of Incarcerated Parents. We are also a member of Child Rights Connect, the international child rights advisory body to the United Nations.
