Storybook Program

EFry’s Storybook Program helps build both literacy and strong family relationships through the power of shared stories. As a volunteer, you will help incarcerated parents choose books and record them reading aloud. EFry will then send both the books and parent recordings to their children. We ask for a minimum commitment of four hours per month for a minimum of six months and willingness to obtain clearance to enter provincial prisons.

Community Bingo

As part of our fundraising activities, EFry hosts community bingo games in Brampton. As a volunteer, you will help support these fun events by greeting guests and helping with light duties to make the games run smoothly. Volunteers must be comfortable on their feet for up to two hours. We ask volunteers to be available at least twice monthly for two-hours shifts.
