Dr. Goldi Gill,
President

Dr. Goldi Gill is the Executive Director for Campus Wellness at Waterloo University. Goldi is also a part-time Professor at Fanshawe and Canadore College, teaching Business Processes and Human Resource Management courses. Outside of work, Goldi mentors young Black, Indigenous, and students of colour from various Ontario high schools and colleges, contributing to educational inclusion and empowerment.

Megan Bailey,
Vice President

Megan Bailey is currently completing a PhD in Ethics and Public Affairs, for which she is focusing on health justice and equity-related issues facing incarcerated people in Canada. Her PhD builds on her Master’s in Health Policy and Equity. Megan is passionate about prison reform and harm reduction to help people overcome challenges and build stable lives.

Jen Pavlov,
Treasurer

Jen Pavlov is a risk management and internal audit professional, whose 25-year background also spans governance, regulatory compliance and enhancing operational efficiency. A former Director on the Board of The Gatehouse, which provides support for those impacted by childhood sexual abuse, Jen also serves on the Toronto Chapter Board of Governors for the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Jashar Grewal,
Secretary

Jashar is a finance executive with nearly 20 years’ experience in Toronto’s financial sector. She currently serves as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Strategic Initiatives for Home Trust Company. After graduating from the Schulich School of Business, Jashar earned her Chartered Professional Accountant designation and is a Certified Financial Analyst charter holder.

Ilmie Dharmaratna

Ilmie Dharmaratna is a transformative, purpose-driven leader with over 10 years’ experience crafting impactful marketing strategies and building high-performing teams. In addition to her current role as Director of Content for Kids Help Phone and serving on EFry’s Board, Ilmie is deeply committed to animal and environmental advocacy and acts as a foster for the Humane Society.

Emily Imrie

Emily Imrie has more than 15 years’ experience providing clinical services and leadership to programs serving people living with substance use and mental health needs, poverty, and justice system involvement. Emily holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, currently serves as the Director of Clinical Services at Toronto Harbour Light, and is a reviewer for the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.

Ilaria Varoli

Ilaria Varoli is Executive Vice President of Myant. She has held leadership roles for the past 25 years across a variety of industries, with the last 15 years in technology and healthcare. Ilaria is also a dedicated supporter of organizations that support the most vulnerable people in our society. She currently serves on two non-profit boards, EFry and Mothers to Daughters.

Deborah Riddle,
Executive Director

Deborah Riddle has dedicated nearly 25 years of her career to EFry, becoming Executive Director in 2007. Deeply committed to supporting gender-responsive programs for women and girls at risk or involved in the legal system, Deb is co-chair for federal and provincial strategic planning bodies to support legal-system involved women. As well, she serves as Vice President for the Canadian Association of Residential Options for Criminalized Women (CAROW), a not-for-profit society dedicated to establishing gender- responsive transitional housing in communities across the country. Deb is also co-chair of the Peel Community Advisory Board, which oversees the federal funding the municipality receives for community housing initiatives.
